Delivery & Warehouse Associate - Event & Wedding Rentals

Primary Duties & Responsibilities



Warehouse Responsibilities



Inventory Management

Receive, inspect, and record incoming rental items (tables, chairs, linens, decor, etc.). Organize and store items properly to prevent damage. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

Order Preparation

Pull and pack rental orders accurately based on event orders and packing lists. Ensure all items are clean, undamaged, and ready for delivery. Package and label items securely to prevent damage in transit.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean, polish, and maintain rental items such as glassware, linens, furniture, and decor. Repair or report damaged items and equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Loading & Unloading

Safely load and unload trucks using hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment. Follow proper weight distribution and securing procedures to prevent damage during transport.

Delivery & On-Site Responsibilities



Timely Deliveries

Deliver and pick up rental items to/from event venues according to the scheduled times. Communicate delays or delivery issues promptly to dispatch or supervisor.

Set-Up & Tear-Down (as required)

Assist with on-site setup of rental items (tables, chairs, arches, dance floors, etc.). Follow layout diagrams and instructions provided by clients or the event coordinator. Break down and pack items after the event in a careful and efficient manner.

Customer Service

Represent the company professionally at all times while interacting with clients, venues, and vendors. Respond to client questions or concerns politely and refer them to the office if necessary.

Documentation & Communication

Ensure delivery forms, invoices, or checklists are signed by clients upon drop-off/pick-up. Communicate any damage, missing items, or on-site issues to the appropriate team immediately.

General Responsibilities



Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Operate company vehicles safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels. Be available for flexible work hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics during high-volume event seasons.

Preferred Qualifications



Valid driver's license with clean driving record (for delivery roles). Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods. Experience in events, hospitality, or logistics is a plus. Punctuality, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
