Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as production crew member. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations such as helping site leads set up and take down stages, tents, weddings, tradeshows, conventions, corporate events, as well as help load and unload vehicles. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and to communicate with clients to make sure the job is done to their satisfaction.
Duties
- Assist in the setup and dismantle of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, moving materials, and cleaning as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment such as; drills, pressure washers, jack hammers, sledge hammers, and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and rental items, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Ensure the safe delivery and return of rental items.
- Communicate with office staff and read orders to ensure the client receives what they order.
- Communicate with clients to ensure that events are constructed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
- A class 5 drivers license with experience on driving 5-ton trucks and knowledge on how to operate a forklift is considered an asset but not required.
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds and more) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines consistently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to show up on time.
