Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards. Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training in food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maintain cost efficiency. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Previous supervisory or team management experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is crucial.
