The Event Administrator will provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Events department, ensuring the smooth delivery of both virtual and in-person programs. This role supports corporate initiatives for CI Global Asset Management, CI Assante Wealth Management, Corient, and their business units. A key focus will be managing the Continuing Education (CE) program through CI and Corient's CE Portal, responding to CE credit and event-related inquiries, and assisting with event planning and coordination. The Event Administrator reports directly to the Vice President, Events.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:



As a key member of the team the Event Administrator will contribute in many areas as follows:

Apply for and issue Continuing Education (CE) credits and maintain the CE program for CI Global Asset Management and Corient. Liaise with regulatory agencies to stay informed on CE requirements and ensure compliance. Manage and track expenses related to the CE program and events. Provide administrative support for event planning, including scheduling, documentation, and logistical coordination. Respond promptly to calls, emails, and other correspondence related to events and CE credits. Assist the Events team with various administrative tasks to ensure the success of departmental initiatives. Manage presentations from initial submission through the review and approval process, ensuring accuracy, compliance with brand and regulatory standards, and timely delivery for events and programs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:



Experience:



Some experience in Marketing/Event administrator role Prior administrative and/or customer service experience

Education/Training



University/College degree in marketing, events, or related field

Knowledge and Skills

:

General understanding of event management Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong customer-service orientation with strong communication skills both written and verbal Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of projects, as well as multi-tasking multiple concurrent events and tasks Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Positive, outgoing team player with the ability to liaise with clients, sales and other business units. Bilingual (English/French) considered a strong asset Ability to work in a team environment.
