About the Role:



Cochrane Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Evening Detail Manager to lead our evening detailing operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for managing the evening detail team, ensuring all vehicles are detailed to Cochrane Toyota's high standards, and maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the evening shift.

The hours for this position are from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off.

What You'll Be Doing:




Supervise and coordinate the evening detailing team, ensuring high-quality standards are met for every vehicle. Prepare new and used vehicles for customer delivery. Detail vehicles with a focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail. Apply protection package products to both interior and exterior surfaces. Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) as needed. Maintain high standards across all detailing tasks while managing customer expectations. Manage workflow to ensure vehicles are detailed and ready for next-day delivery or service appointments. Inspect completed work to guarantee vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer presentation standards. Train, mentor, and support detail staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and time management. Ensure detail bays and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe at all times. Communicate with Service Advisors and Managers to prioritize work and resolve any issues efficiently. Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Uphold cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the facility.




What You'll Bring:




Attention to Detail:

Meticulously clean, polish, and restore vehicles with precision.

Knowledge of Detailing Products and Tools:

Familiarity with cleaning agents, polishes, waxes, and detailing tools.

Power Polishing Proficiency:

Experience in power polishing to restore paint finish.

Paint Protection Film Application:

The ability to apply Paint Protection Film (PPF) is an asset.

Interior Detailing Expertise:

Skilled in protecting various interior materials.

Time Management:

Efficiently manage time to complete tasks promptly and ensure team productivity.

Customer Communication:

Clear communication with staff and management regarding vehicle conditions and services.

Leadership:

Ability to motivate, coach, and support a team toward shared goals.

Physical Stamina:

Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and maintaining high energy throughout evening shifts.

Understanding of Vehicle Surfaces:

Knowledge of how various materials react to cleaning agents and products.

Safety and Compliance:

Strict adherence to safety protocols in handling chemicals and tools.

Licensing:

A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.

Background Check:

Must be able to pass an RCMP Background Check
