OverviewOur client is seeking a graduate who is looking for full-time employment in the position of Construction Estimator for office interior renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have previous construction estimating experience specifically in commercial office interiors. The ideal candidate will also be organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.Yearly Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate cost estimates
• Prepare estimates of costs based on contract bids, quotations, drawings and specifications
• Maintaining the tendering process
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Prepare cost analysis
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors
• Liase, consult and communicate with engineers, owners, architects, and subcontractors
• Manage and co-ordinate construction projects and preparing construction progress schedules may also be required

• 3-5 years experience in construction estimating (office interior specific experience an asset)
• Bachelor\'s Degree/Diploma in Architectural Science, Civil Engineering, Applied Science, Accounting or other construction-related field an asset
• Ability to read construction drawings and develop cost estimates is required
• Strong understanding of commercial interior renovation/construction process
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task, work well independently and meet strict deadlines
• Self-motivated with strong work ethics.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills, decision-making skills, stress and time management skills, as well as excellent team building/ leadership skills.
• Full (G) driver\'s licence required
