As the Project Manager and Estimator, you'll take ownership of key responsibilities, driving projects from start to finish. Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role for a Project Manager & Estimator located in Calgary. The Project Manager & Estimator will be responsible but not limited to:

• Overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and management.
• Analyzing blueprints and Estimating project costs.
• Tracking projects costs; equipment, labor, and materials and allocate expenses to related jobs to ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for projects.
• Continuously improve estimating processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicating with customers, vendors, office, and field staff to ensure the project is completed on time and on budget.
• Providing monthly reports to management on project margins, profitability and projected revenue based on upcoming projects and schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management and estimation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus (Builder Trend, QBO, Bluebeam)
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management Professional (PMP) or related field is a plus
• Experience in residential construction is preferred
