King Infrastructure is a leading contractor specializing in infrastructure, site servicing, and heavy civil construction projects across the GTA. We deliver complex projects with precision, from water and sewer installations to road reconstruction, grading, utilities, and large-scale earthworks.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven

Estimator

to join our team. This role is critical in securing new work and supporting ongoing projects through accurate cost planning, tendering, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure, site servicing, and civil construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs. Develop budgets, tender submissions, and preliminary schedules. Track bid opportunities and ensure timely, compliant submissions. Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing and scope details. Support project managers with estimates for change orders, scope adjustments, and value engineering. Provide input into project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment. Contribute to building strong client relationships by representing King Infrastructure professionally at meetings and site visits. Assist with prequalification submissions and RFI processes.

Qualifications

Diploma, degree, or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum

5 years of estimating experience

in heavy civil, site servicing, or infrastructure projects (valued $1M+). Solid understanding of construction methods for earthworks, sewer/watermain, utilities, and roadworks. Proficiency in estimating software and digital take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
