Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and pricing strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are accurately estimated and effectively managed from inception to completion. The Construction Estimator will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects.

Duties

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil construction projects Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes. Assist in the preparation of bids, budgets, and proposals. Work closely with project managers and senior staff to support project execution. Maintain organized records of all estimates and related documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry practices. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
