Job Details

Position Title: eSports Senior Administrator

Status: FT Admin (temporary)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Faculty/Department: Faculty of Media & Creative Arts

Campus/Location: North

Salary: $56,868 (Min) - $85,302 (Max)

What you will do:

Humber Esports requires a senior administrator to engage students, build connections, and bolster the Humber community. The coordinator would be engaged in raising our esports profile, build awareness, and initiate sponsorship opportunities. Our vision is to maintain a team training regimen and develop professional conduct among players.

The senior administrator will be involved with planning budgets, overseeing operations, creating tournaments, maintaining team rosters, performing student outreach, fostering industry relations, and cultivate brand recognition.

Qualifications

What you bring to the role

Education

• Minimum 3-year college diploma specializing in event coordination, digital technology, or sports management.

Experience

• 2+ years providing mentorship to teams or individuals, creating visual communications, deploying technology, or event coordination.
• Familiarity with EDI challenges, our teams, their games, and coaching requirements will be an asset in levelling-up.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive environment for a diverse group of gamers is highly desirable.

Key Duties

• Event coordination (organizing tournaments and outreach events)
• Reporting (maintaining rosters, website, team analytics)
• Supporting team and individual development (training regimen, meetings, coaching)
• Sponsorship (outreach, budgeting, meetings)
• Marketing (initiating and reviewing designs, coordinating campaigns)
