Job Summary:
Brentwell Construction is looking for a skilled
Equipment Operator
to join our team for ongoingcivil and residential construction projects
. We're seeking a reliable and safety-conscious operator with experience in excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.Responsibilities:
Operate excavators to complete tasks such as trenching, digging, and grading Perform site prep and backfilling according to plans and specifications Work around utilities with care and accuracy Load/unload materials (soil, gravel, debris) Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow all safety procedures and report hazards Assist with other duties on site as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of excavator operation experience Experience in civil and/or residential construction required Ability to read and follow site plans and grade stakes Knowledge of safe equipment operation and OSHA standards Valid driver's license Equipment certifications a plus
