Appenzell Construction is a Revelstoke-based commercial and residential builder, with many years of experience in luxury home building and renovations. We take pride in our work, delivering open communication, skilled craftsmanship and efficient construction.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled heavy equipment operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to skid steers, excavators and dump trucks, to assist in the efficient completion of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and possess the ability to work collaboratively within a construction team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in residential construction. Class 1 or 3 license is an asset as some truck driving will be required Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
