ADGA requires the services of an Enterprise Architect who currently holds an Enhanced Reliability clearance.

The Enterprise Architect will perform tasks as designed by our client on an \xe2\x80\x9cas and when requested\xe2\x80\x9d basis. Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the implementation of a data collection software;
  • Implement a standardized mechanism to receive surveillance intelligence data;
  • Establish dynamic feeds for data integration and updates;
  • Deploy a stack capable of supporting a common operating picture (COP) to visualize and assess integrated surveillance intelligence;
  • Implement digital governance mechanisms for effective management of surveillance intelligence;
  • Ensure ongoing operations and maintenance of the surveillance platform;
  • Set up a GCP Sandbox;
  • Improve the level of service provided to all surveillance teams involved in the project;
  • Enhance security measures by adopting a zero-trust security model;
  • Establish a self-serve platform for researcher and SME to facilitate access to the available cloud service offerings;
  • Address the agency\'s technological debt and reduce it through modernization efforts;
  • Develop a scalable and robust surveillance platform capable of integrating the outputs of PHAC surveillance teams;
  • Implement workflows and processes to support the work of subject matter experts (SMEs) involved in surveillance activities;
  • Highlight and integrate value-added information and indicators to support evidence-based decision making;
  • Enable real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities for rapid response to emerging health threats;
  • Create customizable dashboards and visualizations to enhance situational awareness and facilitate decision making;
  • Develop advanced analytics and modeling capabilities to support data-driven decision making;
  • Implement robust data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information; and
  • Other tasks as required.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years experience working either on business architecture or business analysis;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, within the last ten years, in identifying, analyzing, and validating services and service processes to facilitate transformation initiatives. This must include the following:
  • Develop models;
  • Facilitate meetings or workshops to gather, analyze, and validate findings;
  • Communicating findings to stakeholders and Senior Executives;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, within the last 10 years, in developing architecture frameworks, practices and procedures;
  • Experience, within last 10 years, using Government Strategic Reference Models (GSRM) within Business Transformation Enablement Program (BTEP) for business transformation initiatives of a public sector (Federal, Provincial, Territorial or Municipal Government, or Crown Corporation);
  • Experience evaluate the enterprise\'s business, Information/data, application and technology infrastructure architecture, determine its consistency and integration with the organization\'s business and strategies, assess the degree of its alignment with Treasury Board CIO Business Transformation Enablement Program (BTEP) and industry-architectures such as Federated Architecture Program (FAP) and The Open Group Architecture Forum (TOGAF) recommend changes to the business and respective architecture to improve its alignment with these external factors;
  • Assess the feasibility of migrating from the current state to the target architecture enabling technologies and identifying the risks associated with migrating to the target architecture and technologies and make recommendations for risk mitigation;
  • Identify business and technology trends that create opportunities for business improvement, advise business and Senior Executives on trends and emerging technologies and the impact on the organizations and government architectures and business strategies, model "What if" scenarios and recommend appropriate changes to the existing architecture and infrastructure, and recommend alternative solutions, methodologies and strategies;
  • Produce an architectural evolution plan, recommend prioritization of architecture evolution initiatives, and develop and implement an architecture evolution plan; and
  • Manage the development and implementation of an architectural improvement plan; and
  • Coach, mentor and train the organization to perform any of the tasks identified.
