We are looking for a full-time Enterprise Architect as part of our Information Services Team.

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $109,072 - $136,340 per annum depending on level and depth of experience
• Status: Full-time (37.5 hours a week); entitled to excellent company benefits
• Work Arrangement: Fully remote; qualified and interested candidates must be based within Canada, preferably but not necessarily in Alberta.
• Closing Date: April 23, 2023.

Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will define which solution elements the enterprise needs to deliver that ensure conformance with Servus\' architectures and preferred patterns. You will interact with all levels of the organization and serve a key role within the organization to leverage IS Services to meet business needs and objectives. You will collaborate closely with all stakeholders to define requirements, approaches and balance tactical vs strategic goals and objectives.

As an Enterprise Architect, you evaluate options and help negotiate and define needed components. You will be expected to be aware of component inventories, conceive of adaptations for reuse, scout the marketplace for products and services, determine when new development is needed, or cloud-sourced components are best. You will also be disciplined at comparative evaluations and adeptly narrows a range of possibilities to make the \xe2\x80\x9cbest\xe2\x80\x9d choices for a workable solution within a given timeline.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining enterprise information technology reference architectures, application maps, platform roadmaps, principles, and standards collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, managers, and architects.
• Delivering an aligned and unified technology roadmap by socializing and collaborating with solution and enterprise architects throughout the organization.
• Expanding expertise via engagements with architects, external partners, and industry organizations, and making recommendations.
• Leading projects from a technical aspect by providing solution analysis, planning, design and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Producing formal written architecture documentation based on project needs.
• Developing comprehensive strategic plans for IT, while balancing immediate and future needs across the enterprise.Providing architectural expertise, technical design, technical direction, and assistance within the delivery team.
• Assure completeness of deployment and implementation plans of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and developing strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Requirements:

To qualify, you must have completed your bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution. You should also have required training in TOGAF, Azure and cloud certifications. ITIL certification is an asset.

Other requirements include:

• 5+ years of Solution Architecture experience in a variety of domains.
• Virtuosic PowerPoint authoring skills and abilities in building presentations that summarize key facts, key points, and next steps with compelling data and relevant visuals
• Creativity in solving problems and ability to find multiple avenues to achieve results.
• Experience with setting strategic technology direction in multiple business domains (at least 3).
• Experience with networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing
• Ability to go beyond abstract frameworks, and tailor applied strategies and solutions to Servus based on their current architecture state, objectives, and needs.
• Experience writing application, integration, network, environment, and security diagrams.
• Experience in defining and applying enterprise architecture best practices, architecture development processes, and different architecture domain modeling techniques across multiple architecture teams in the enterprise
• Software application development experiences with different SDLC approaches following agile or
• Experience doing service-oriented analysis and design, and working with ESBs or IPaaS
• Must be able to work within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and competing deadlines
• Opening banking exposure valuable.
