The Role

We are seeking a dedicated

English / Social Science Teacher

to teach Grades 10-12 international students. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive and inclusive classroom, and support students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English language, literature, and/or Social Science courses (Ontario curriculum). Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration. Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain a well-organized classroom and supportive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in English, Social Sciences, Education, or related field. 2+ years teaching experience (preferred). Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Certification (preferred).

Assets

Membership in a provincial teachers' association/federation. Experience supporting international and diverse learners.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay:

$28.00-$35.00/hour + Bonus

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday (on-site)
