We are currently seeking an "Engineering Technician" with one of our clients in Kitchener, ON. Please apply and be available for it.

Project Overview: (Share 2-3 sentences about the BUSINESS)

The AR Production Operations team, specifically the Lab team working in a clean room environment working on metrology and inspection related task, data collection, working with Google FTEs.

Overall Responsibilities: (Share 2-3 sentences about the POSITION)

Responsible for inpecting parts and maintaining reports.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)

Applicant must have the following skills/ capabilities

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom lab environment
• Aptitude working with lab metrology equipment such as automated microscopes, machine vision cameras and other hand held inspection tools
• Comfortable learning to use custom software and contributing to team meetings to optimize workflow
• Expert hand eye coordination handling/inspecting sensitive parts
• Detail oriented with excellent communication skills. Able to keep accurate records / notes and assist in inventory management
• Flexible to change pace as needed in an agile environment
• 4 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably consumer electronics or optics
• 2 years of technical training/experience or similar education
