Junior Civil Engineering Technician - Materials Technology

We are currently seeking Site Technicians to join our team at Ottawa .

Main responsibilities

  • Assist project engineers in the inspection and verification of construction and rehabilitation of transportation infrastructures (roads, highways, bridges and tunnels) as well as in the inspection of industrial and commercial building construction (earthworks and concrete work);
  • Perform sampling and quality control tests on soils, aggregates, cement concrete and asphalt on site.
  • Write site reports and prepare other technical documents.
Training and skills
  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) or Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in civil engineering, an asset;
  • No experience required;
  • Good command of French, both oral and written.
  • Possess the ASP Construction and WHMIS 2015 card;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
  • Autonomous, resourceful and punctual person;
  • Available for a variable schedule.
