What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do: We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Engineering team to support our existing designs and continue building the future of our product line. Examples of your work and responsibilities would include:
Creating and editing drawings (e.g. 3D models, manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams)
Hands-on work including assembly, testing, and evaluation of designs
Assisting Engineers with designs, changes, BOMs, and sourcing components
Responsible for the Engineering Change Process to implement changes to existing designs
Preparation of technical documentation such as drawings, instructions, and test reports
Working with service, production, sales, and engineering personnel to investigate issues with and improvements to the existing product line
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for: Applicants should be comfortable with using computers, and be mechanically inclined. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Proficient with 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Mechanical Desktop)
Proficient with assembly and testing of electromechanical equipment (assembly, wiring, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio would be an asset
Skills such as machining or electrical knowledge and experience would be an asset
College Diploma in an Electro-mechanical field or equivalent work experience would be an asset
Willing and able to travel to domestic and international locations
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
