In your role, you will:

  • Be responsible for coordinating projects and can work in a wide variety of projects such as information technology or continuous improvement project
  • Propose and implement new ideas to maximize efficiency
  • Support the operations by helping and solving their day-to-day issues.
  • Have a production orientated focus to help the operation to attain their annual objectives
  • Manage assembly line capacity
  • Deploy and maintain standard work through our assembly line
  • Act as the central resource for the manufacture toward others business units
  • Define project details: Item quantity, item type, delays, roles and responsibilities, WBS, schedules, actual or future supplier\xe2\x80\x99s capability and budget while using best management tools.
  • Map process and understand their impacts on the capacity of sectors in the manufacture
  • Plan and carry out multidisciplinary workshops to create a good project team, commit the parties and ensure the assignment of all deliverables
  • Prepare project charter and have them approved by the committed parties and the direction
  • Identify risks and issues that could occur in the executive stage
  • Analyze, develop and propose strategies for industrial manufacturing excellence in terms of health and safety, quality, productivity, costs and human development through the principles of "Lean Manufacturing and Standard Work"
  • Prepare and present status of progress during the governance with the plant steering committee;
  • Align the work of project managers and deployment leaders with the strategy predefined and support teams in their questions during the implementation;
  • Take part to business plans that aim new industrial activities as part of activities related to business development
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing technical sequences (Precedence)
  • Analyze cycle times
  • Establish critical cycle time
  • Define and Produce the optimal line balancing for specific rate.
  • Establish the detailed manpower requirement (workcenters, crew type, shift,..)
  • Determine Production capacity (Manpower, equipment\xe2\x80\xa6)
  • Produce daily production schedule (Chart)
  • Collect, document and maintain manufacturing data. (loads, capacity, equipment, footprint ...)
  • Participate in analyzing and establishing the production standard time.
  • Establish detailed value stream mapping.
  • Establish and organize workcenter considering human and material flow.
  • Manage production changes (sequence)

Qualifications


As our ideal candidate,
  • You hold a Bachelor\'s (an advantage) or a Technical\xe2\x80\x99 s degree in Industrial Engineering and/or continuous improvement.
  • You have a minimum of Five (5) years of experience in industrial engineering
  • You have proven experience & advanced skills in project management and team work leadership
  • You have strong communication skills at all levels
  • You have advanced knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing the concepts
  • You have fluency in French written and spoken
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and MS Project
  • You have experience in the manufacturing field
  • You have knowledge in the manufacturing processes of the aviation industry (asset)
  • You have knowledge in production line balancing concepts and Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • You have knowledge in operations basics and manufacturing line implementation
  • You have strong skills in priority management and last minute request
  • You have ability to perform with a high level of responsibilities and like to manage new initiatives
  • You have high level of autonomy and have a good practical sense
  • You have interest for change management
  • You have awareness of the new trends in manufacturing field and continuous improvement.
