Engineering for Kids is seeking enthusiastic and responsible

Assistant Teachers

to support our STEM camps during March Break and Summer Vacation. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students who enjoy working with children and want to gain experience in leadership, teamwork, and hands-on learning.

About the Role

As an Assistant Teacher, you will help deliver fun and engaging engineering, robotics, and technology activities to children ages 4-14. You do not need previous teaching experience -- we provide full training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

Assist Lead Teacher with daily STEM camp activities Help supervise students and maintain a safe, positive environment Set up and clean up materials, equipment, and classroom spaces Support students during projects, challenges, and group activities Help with attendance, transitions, and general camp organization Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
Requirements

Must be at least

16 years old

Able to work during

March Break

and/or

Summer Vacation

Enjoys working with children and being part of a team Reliable, punctual, and responsible Positive attitude and willingness to learn Criminal record check (if over 18) or parental consent (if under 18)
