Working for Pembina means working safely.Overview:Pembina Pipeline Corporation's Alberta Ethane Gathering System (AEGS) is looking for an Engineering summer student to join the Calgary team for the summer term (May 6 - August 29, 2025). Applicants who will be attending a post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2025 and are able to work the entire summer term are invited to apply for a summer position with Pembina Pipeline Corporation.Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Manage asset integrity records;
  • Assisting with audit and compliance of vendors as part of integrity management system;
  • Potential for field work: Driving, filling out Field Level Hazard Assessments, basic mechanical knowledge;
  • Driving to various pipeline locations as needed to perform data gathering;
  • Data analysis of historical facility integrity related failures/incidents;
  • Support in areas of project development and execution;
  • Potential for development of project management deliverables, drawings, documents; and
  • Project based investigations/analysis using Excel.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Enthusiastic and self driven;
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • A desire to learn and to help others;
  • Punctual, motivated and friendly;
  • Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email software; and
  • SAP knowledge is an asset.
This position is considered Safety Sensitive and will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You will also be required to provide a Driver's Abstract.The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 02/21/2025.
