Consultant will be responsible for providing leadership to customers implementing Work and Asset Management software. Consultant will be accountable for functional processes and design aspects of projects in the work and asset management application area. This includes the full software implementation lifecycle from initiation to completion to deliver business change and benefits. Our business unit serves global clients in the Utility industry. Role of Consultant:

• Responsible for implementing WAM and WACS across the public utility industry including Gas, Electric, Water, and Public Works.
• Ability to do Fit-to-Standard and Gap Analysis of legacy software applications in order to implement WAM / WACS applications.
• Integration of WAM / WACS with other applications like Oracle Field Service (OFS) and GIS applications.
• Gather and analyze functional requirements to deliver business value to our customers.
• Communicate the technical design of a solution and the rationale driving that design within the architecture and wider community.
• Take responsibility for the functional integrity of projects to ensure that common technical elements are recognized, and business value is delivered to our customers.
• Design and drive enterprise projects for our customers.
• Draw on knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) for application development, support, and maintenance.
• Work in teams to support program development or future enhancement.
• Design, test, and deploy code into the appropriate environment.
• Prepare functional documentation for code and design changes, and debug, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user applications.
• This is a remote based role with up to 50% travel contingent on customer needs

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
