Position Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for an Employment Lawyer based in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing employee or management side employment law.
The role will require a strong knowledge of employment law, excellent client management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a diverse caseload of plaintiff side employment law matters.
Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in Court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
Stay current with evolving employment law legislation and case law.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD)
and membership in good standing with the
Law Society of Ontario
.
Minimum
2 years of experience
practicing Ontario employment law as a lawyer.
Strong knowledge of employment law and workplace rights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
