Summary

We are seeking to add an experienced employment lawyer to our team. This is a full-time position, and the preferred candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience working in the employment law area of civil litigation. The chosen candidate will enjoy working with a tight-knit group of individuals in a team-focused environment and have a license to practice law in British Columbia.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, research, drafting and writing skills, and be prepared to step into active cases before the Courts and the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active member of the bar association in good standing. Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of court procedures. Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree. Admission to the Bar of British Columbia Proven experience in employment law or similar role Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Excellent research and writing abilities Proficiency with legal research tools Proficiency in legal drafting and writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a Team Commitment to client service excellence
Salary is commensurate with experience.
