Job SummaryThe Hospital Manager is a leader and an integral member of the veterinary hospital management team. The Manager will work closely with a team of division leads, including Medical Directors, Office Manager, Lead RVTs, Lead Veterinary Assistant, and Lead Tech Assistant, to ensure a healthy practice culture and sustainable operation. Our hospital culture is highly important to us, and the Manager will focus on building systems of support and accountability to create an optimal working environment in which exceptional patient care and client service will thrive.Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas

• HR management - able to develop policies and protocols, increase accountability
• Operations management
• Budget development and management
• Manage time and tasks appropriately and remain flexible with assigned duties.
• Supervisory and leadership experience, minimum 3 years experience.
• Reporting and data analysis.
• Problem-solving and resolution management skills.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Previous practice management software knowledge preferred, MAEC uses Ezyvet and Smartflow).
• Interpersonal skills with staff and clients, and works well in a team environment.
• Customer service strategies and effective marketing techniques.
• Staff management including: coaching, developing, and motivating staff.
• Assist in hiring processes of all support staff.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members.
• Make decisions confidently and effectively.
• Become familiar with the differing working environments that come with a 24/7 emergency hospital and work occasional evenings and weekends to ensure a familiarity with these times

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working in the veterinary field
• Bachelor's degree in business or related degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manager role, including customer service experience.
• Experience working with the financial aspect of running a business

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $52,000.00-$72,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
