Key Responsibilities:
Triage patients according to CTAS guidelines.
Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute medical conditions.
Administer medications and perform interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care.
Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Qualifications:
Current RN license
with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Certifications required:
CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience:
Minimum
1-2 years Emergency Department (ED)
nursing experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Schedule & Duration:
Full contract period coverage required (dates to be confirmed during hiring process).
