Position Overview



We are currently seeking an experienced

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

in Belleville, ON for a reputable healthcare facility in

Watertown, New York

.

The ideal candidate will excel in high-acuity, fast-paced environments and be capable of delivering immediate, high-quality care to patients facing urgent or emergent conditions. This role involves triage, stabilization, and treatment of a broad range of medical and trauma cases in collaboration with an expert emergency team.

Responsibilities



Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival to determine care priorities. Provide emergency care for diverse conditions--medical, surgical, trauma, cardiac, and psychiatric. Administer medications, fluids, and interventions as directed by physicians. Continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and lab/imaging results. Implement and assist with

ACLS

,

PALS

, or

trauma protocols

as appropriate. Collaborate with the care team to stabilize critical patients before transfer or admission. Deliver patient and family education following stabilization. Accurately document assessments and interventions in the EHR. Maintain constant readiness for emergencies, codes, and trauma activations. Uphold infection control, patient safety, and hospital compliance standards.

Qualifications



Active

New York RN license

(unrestricted). Graduate of an

accredited nursing program

.

BLS

and

ACLS

required (American Heart Association).

PALS

,

TNCC

, or

ENPC

preferred. Minimum

1-2 years of acute care experience

, with at least

1 year in the Emergency Department

preferred. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
