Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Email Designer with hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support our government client for the next 3+ weeks. This is a remote, part-time freelance role. As an Email Designer, you will be responsible for adapting an existing figma design system to create visually appealing and highly effective email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will collaborate closely with the communications and brand teams to create emails that align with their brand identity and existing figma designs.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Create visually engaging email layouts, incorporating graphics, imagery, and typography to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand objectives and translate them into email designs that drive action.
• Test email designs across multiple devices and platforms to ensure optimal rendering and functionality.
• Implement A/B testing strategies to enhance email performance and optimize design based on results.
• Work with Salesforce Marketing Cloud\'s Content Builder to create dynamic, personalized email templates using AMPscript or HTML/CSS.
• Ensure email designs adhere to accessibility standards and are optimized for mobile devices.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement and troubleshoot any technical issues in email deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in designing emails using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive email design.
• Experience with AMPscript and dynamic email content.
• A solid understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and optimization for deliverability.
• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and email performance metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality designs in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools is a plus.
