Job Description

This is a remote position for candidates all over Canada. There is a chance we will move into an office in the GTA, however, we will always offer WFH employment.

If you love

creating multi-platform social media graphics,

your eyes light up when you're

mocking up an intuitive and engaging website layouts in Figma

, you

have fun editing video content for Reels and TikTok

, you can whip out

email designs using Figma components that make people want to click

, you're not afraid to

leverage Adobe AI (or other tools) to quickly fix up the focus or white balance on RAW photo assets, or even use it to create net new image or vector files,

get excited

crafting and developing branding design

(maybe even packaging design, too), get a kick out of

creating stop motion or other small animated graphics

, and enjoy doing it all in sweatpants in front of the TV while Friends or The Office is on in the background and virtually hanging out with some cool people, then we have the position for you!

We are hiring a full-time

Graphic Designer

with a focus on UI/UX design, social media graphics and short form videos, and email designs, to work in our design & dev team, while collaborating with our cross-functional marketing and customer service teams to enable our "Full Circle Approach to Digital Marketing" methodology. working remotely and based in Toronto. We do everything related to digital marketing including, but not limited to; paid and organic social media, email/SMS marketing and automation, website design & development, influencer marketing, branding and design, Ecommerce & Amazon management, US based fulfillment, and online customer service, for clients across the world in industry verticals ranging from skincare, apparel, beauty, restaurants, home decor, CPGs, baby products, health and wellness, real estate, accounting, and more.

WORK WITH US AND YOU WOULD BE:



Designing Social Media Graphics:

working alongside our social media team to create on-brand, engaging static and animated graphics that align with corresponding copy and underlying strategy to be used across social platforms

Designing Websites & Landing Pages:

creating visually appealing, accessible, intuitive, and high-converting website UI mockups across mobile and desktop placements using Figma for the Shopify, Webflow, and WordPress platforms, as well we performing design review with the development team to ensure consistency between mockup and live builds

Designing Advertising Creative:

working with our Growth team to create high converting and strategic static, motion, and video assets across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google and other advertising ecosystems

Supporting the Design & Building of Email Layouts:

supporting our Lifecycle team in designing email templates via Figma and building them in the corresponding ESPs (Klaviyo, Attentive, etc.)

Owning Brand Identity, Brand Guidelines, & Quality Management:

ensuring that our Clients' brand guidelines are adhered to across all creative deliverables by creating and referencing brand documentation, and, in some cases, developing new brand guidelines where needed, and ensuring all assets align with Client brand guidelines, as well as In Social's high standard of deliverable quality

Designing Print & Product Collateral

: as requested (infrequently), designing print collateral such as business cards, banners, flyers, patterns, merchandise, or other physical objects that align with clients' existing digital brand identity in accordance with relevant printing requirements

Providing Strategic & Creative Insight:

lending your knowledge of design and design standards, as well as ideas and feedback to team members to ensure we are providing the highest quality deliverables possible

Continuous Improvement

: always improving your skill set, knowledge, and performance through self-development, training courses, webinars, as well as collaborating with, and taking feedback from, our Director of Brand strategy

Supporting Deadline Management:

working with your team lead and Project Coordinator to ensure deadlines can be met or requesting additional time as needed

Optimizing from Insights

: receiving data-backed feedback from our Digital Performance Analyst, as well as other team members to identify opportunities and optimizations to our creative deliverables to drive stronger results

Contributing to the Full Circle Approach

: being a team player and collaborating across all service verticals to understand, adapt, strategize, and deliver on digital strategies that consider the entire customer journey, in an effort to drive the best results possible to our clients

YOU WILL BE MEASURED AGAINST

TO WORK WITH US YOU SHOULD HAVE:



At least 1- 2 years of experience working in the Adobe Suite and know it inside and out (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects) At least 1-2 years of experience working with Figma At least 1-2 years of experience designing for both organic and paid social media placements At least 1-2 years of experience designing email layouts At least 1-2 years of experience creating intuitive, accessible, and responsive web experiences, and, either handing them off to, or working in conjunction with, a developer A working knowledge of Ecommerce The ability to show examples of your work An understanding of how to leverage analytics to inform and improve your designs Exceptional attention to detail and include the code isgd2025 in your cover letter An appreciation for a super casual work environment, but still know how to be productive The need to enjoy your job, be a team player, and do cool things with cool people
