Elementary Classroom Assistant
We are currently seeking one full-time Classroom Assistant to join our Elementary team. The successful candidates will join a team of educators passionate about providing a holistic learning experience for children. Experience with Montessori is certainly an asset, but not a necessity.
Desired qualities in a candidate are:
Clean criminal record check
Successful experience working with and understanding students in elementary school
Able to take direction as well as initiative
Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
Organized and reliable
The desire to learn about the Montessori philosophy
Current First Aid or willingness to acquire
The successful candidate must be available on a full time basis, Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 3:00, commencing January 6th and continuing until approximately April 30th, or until the incumbent returns. This role is a temporary assignment created to support the school during a short-term employee leave. The position will conclude upon the employee's return.
