Dental Assistant - Maternity Leave Coverage

Are you a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant looking to join a supportive, skilled, and fun-loving dental team? We'd love to meet you! Midpark Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our amazing team for a

maternity leave coverage

position running from

January 2026 through September 2027

. As our organization continues to grow, there is potential for this to develop into a permanent position at one of our locations.
You'll be working closely with

Dr. Deepak West

, providing excellent care to our patients in a positive, team-focused environment.

What We're Looking For:
- A Registered Dental Assistant with 1+ year of experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to delivering quality patient care
- Experience with ClearDent is an asset but not required

Schedule:
Monday: 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 1:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 1:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Saturday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (1 Saturday every 4 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Assist the dentist during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth patient flow
- Take and upload dental X-rays
- Support patient education and oral hygiene instruction
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Help with scheduling and general office flow
- Review patients charts in preparation for their appointments

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29 - 37 per week
