Position Summary

The Electronics Test Engineer is responsible for PCB testing, diagnostics, circuit troubleshooting, and SMT/TH rework while ensuring compliance with customer technical requirements and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, in-circuit, and customer-specific testing of PCB assemblies. Troubleshoot failures at the component and circuit level and perform corrective repair. Conduct SMT and through-hole rework, soldering, and component replacements. Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and work instructions. Prepare detailed repair records, test logs, and documentation. Work closely with engineering, SMT production, and QC teams to resolve issues. Follow ESD and IPC standards.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience. 2+ years of electronics testing or repair experience. Strong knowledge of SMT/TH components. Skilled soldering and rework abilities (fine-pitch an asset). Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
