Summit Electric is looking for a Project Manager with experience in Electrical Construction or a similar field. This role involves handling projects from start to finish, including reviewing RFQs, managing costs, and making sure everything follows contracts and regulations. We need someone who can use their technical know-how to put together quotes and improve processes on customer sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all aspects of projects, from initial planning to final execution and closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and create budgets that account for labor, materials, and contingencies. Track costs and adjust plans as needed to stay within financial targets.
Ensure all projects adhere to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Implement best practices to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Facilitate clear communication to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Track project milestones, address any obstacles or delays, and proactively mitigate risks to prevent cost overruns and schedule disruptions.
Ensure proper procedures are followed for scope changes, design approvals, drawing revisions, and effective communication of modifications to all stakeholders.
Provide direction and mentorship to project teams, including electricians, supervisors, and other personnel. Promote a collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and problem-solving.
Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure workmanship meets quality standards and project specifications.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on project performance, including cost analysis, progress updates, and key performance indicators. Maintain accurate records of all project-related activities.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Journeyman Electrician certification required.
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, automation, and instrumentation. In-depth knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and support project teams, including electricians, supervisors, and contractors.
Ability to analyze complex issues, develop effective solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) to track progress, manage documentation, and facilitate reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to job sites as needed.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
