Summary
Brewis Electric is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our team in Langford, B.C. In this pivotal role, you will manage electrical projects of varying sizes while ensuring they meet performance, budget, and timeline targets. Reporting to the General Manager and collaborating closely with site foremen and field crew, you will be at the forefront of project planning and execution.
This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from creating initial estimates and overseeing project planning, to managing resources (labours, materials), billing, controlling and project evaluating. You'll have the opportunity to guide projects from inception to completion.

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
Prepare project estimates, including labour, materials, and overhead costs, ensuring that all estimates align with project specifications and client requirements.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Work closely with site foremen, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure that work is executed according to the project plan, maintaining clear communication and addressing any issues that arise.
Preparation and processing of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress billing, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and documented accurately.
Ensure that the project/s comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards, conducting regular site inspections to monitor quality and safety performance.
Requirements
Electrical Journeyman Certification(or equivalent experience in electrical project management)
Experience in quoting commercial and residential projects is an asset
In-depth understanding of electrical construction, codes and regulations
Familiarity with Accubid software (Accubid Pro, Change Order and Live Count) is a plus
Strong project management skills, including experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress billing
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, contractors, suppliers, and other trades
Advance problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address project challenges
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common software tools
