Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee medium and large-scale electrical construction projects - installation, and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical construction, construction management, and project coordination, combined with a passion for driving project success through proactive leadership and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets using tools like Primavera P6 and Project scheduling software. Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to develop accurate construction estimates utilizing Accubid and other software tools. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, system designs, and technical drawings to ensure precise implementation of electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and progress reports, to maintain clear communication channels. Oversee construction site activities ensuring safety compliance, quality standards, and efficient resource utilization; conduct regular site inspections. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment. Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and tracking; proactively resolve issues related to design discrepancies or delays. Ensure all electrical system design work aligns with industry best practices in system design, schematic development, and electrical engineering principles. Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders to foster collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects within the light industrial or commercial sectors. Extensive background in electrical engineering principles, system design, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation. Strong understanding of ESA standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. Prior hands-on construction site experience coupled with excellent project coordination skills. Ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings accurately while managing multiple priorities effectively. Excellent time management skills with a track record of delivering projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
