About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Projects Team. This position oversees commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects--managing scope, schedule, and cost while ensuring Chermik's safety, documentation, and quality standards are met.
As a Project Manager, you will represent Chermik onsite with general contractors, owner representatives, and major electrical contractors, coordinating all aspects of project delivery from kickoff through close-out.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical construction projects from award to close-out.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to maintain progress and budget.
Review drawings, specifications, and change documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Support estimating with pricing for change orders and design revisions.
Uphold Chermik's HSE and QA/QC standards through proactive site engagement.
Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, consultants, and partners onsite.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' project-management or superintendent experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical construction.
Strong understanding of CEC, project documentation, and cost-control processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project-management tools (MS Project or equivalent).
Diploma, Journeyperson Certificate, or PMP designation preferred.
Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract.
What We Offer
Benefits: Eligibility for Chermik's group benefits plan after a 3-month probationary period (subject to insurer approval).
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (flexibility required).
Location: Edmonton, AB, with periodic site travel.
