Your future role on our team

By joining our team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be required to help with the various stages of project execution, from proposals to site monitoring and commissioning for critical power systems, particularly in data centres. These tasks will include feasibility studies, detailed engineering, equipment specifications and site surveys.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for preparing drawings, material lists, cabling lists, technical specifications and estimates by applying established calculation and design methods. Additionally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and for maintaining strong client relationships.

Oversee business relationships with clients and the quality of professional services.

Lead and participate in preparing proposals.

Lead and carry out electrical engineering projects (low and medium voltage).

Develop and implement work methods.

Be responsible for preparing, drafting and producing study reports.

Design electrical distribution.

Manage the technical portions of projects (design reviews, costs, schedules).

Share your technical knowledge with younger engineers on the team to prepare for and ensure technical succession.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering

Member of the Ordre des ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec

Five or more years of relevant experience with power distribution systems

Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages

Available to travel between the Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Montr\xc3\xa9al offices, as well as for short-term visits to client sites outside our offices (mandatory) and long-term visits (for a few weeks or months, an asset) in urban areas

In-depth knowledge of electrical installation safety

Knowledge of the electrical code [RL1] and building electricity

Knowledge of electrical equipment layout (installation)

Knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Asset: Knowledge of workplace safety (workers\xe2\x80\x99 compensation) and site monitoring

Asset: Knowledge of electrical equipment in data centres and critical systems (generating units, UPS systems, etc.)

Asset: Knowledge of medium-voltage electrical equipment
