Position: Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Montreal - Partial Hybrid
Salary: $ 85k to $ 95k per year

The Electrical Project Engineer\'s responsibilities include reviewing all engineering design plans, performing complex calculations, some participating in design to customize electrical power distribution systems and their components, liaising with other engineers, and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. You should be able to stick to the allocated budget and build reliable, quality electrical systems.
The role will not be creating new products but rather taking existing products and then working with each client to understand their specific business needs and create a customized engineering to order solution.
Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:

- Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project
- Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects
- Ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed at all times
- Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects, and writing up reports
- Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment
- Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering
Position qualifications:

- Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- At least three years of experience in project management within electrical manufacturing
- At least 3 years\' experience working in a similar Project Manager role within the electrical industry
- Electrical estimating experience is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English); French an asset
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Strong computer proficiency; experience in ETAP, SAP or Salesforce an asset
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, which changing priorities and deadlines
- Well organized with a strong attention to details
