The

Electrical Panel Builder

will work under the general supervision of the Electrical Shop Supervisor and wire electrical panels for safety critical electrical control systems, PLC's, hydraulic power units and operator control stations.

What you will do:



Wire Electrical Panels for Safety Critical Electrical Control Systems, PLC's, Hydraulic Power Units and Operator Control Stations. Travel occasionally to equipment fabrication vendors for final wiring. Work in a collaborative environment in close association with Hepburn Engineering staff at the Toronto office to wire panels for integrated custom engineered equipment. Troubleshoot panels and circuits. Use various hand tools, as well as electrical/battery and pneumatic powered tools. Provide constructive feedback to designers on electrical schematic drawings and documentation. Support all customer needs with a matter of urgency for speedy resolution. Conduct all activities in compliance to the ISO systems and procedures. Maintain all systems in compliance to company Intellectual Property rules and guidelines. Follow and apply safety guidelines and rules as per Company policies. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Perform occasional overtime work. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required.

About you / qualifications:



Licensed Electrician. Understanding of Electrical Panel Building for Control Technology. Able to read and interpret Electrical schematics and other technical drawings. Strong wiring competence in complex Electrical PLC and Control Panel Stations. Basic mechanical skills. Sound critical thinking skills. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work. Exceptional organization skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in the English language. Ability to work independently to complete tasks as assigned as well as to work collaboratively. Possess a valid Ontario Driver's License and own transportation for business travel. A valid forklift certification is an asset. Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
