Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Electrical Engineer

with experience in

building systems design

. The ideal candidate will work on a wide range of projects including Residential, commercial buildings, offices, schools, and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and prepare electrical drawings for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems. Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and coordination with other building systems. Prepare specifications, reports, and cost estimates. Review shop drawings and conduct site inspections. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (CEC, NBC, local building standards).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with APEGA. 1-3 years of relevant experience in building electrical systems. Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
