Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Vacation Pay: 10% of base rate (6% vacation, 4% statutory)

Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at a high-performing oil and gas facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs to ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of process systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and corrective electrical and instrumentation maintenance on plant systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving transmitters, control valves, PLC I/O, motors, VFDs, and lighting systems
Calibrate and test instrumentation to ensure optimal performance
Interpret and work from loop drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Document maintenance tasks and findings accurately in site CMMS systems
Adhere to site-specific safety protocols and participate in hazard assessments
Collaborate with site operators, engineers, and other trades to minimize downtime
Maintain compliance with applicable electrical codes and industry standards
Participate in on-call rotation if required by the site
Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal preferred)
Instrumentation Technician certification is a strong asset
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in oil and gas or a similar environment
Strong troubleshooting ability across electrical and instrumentation systems
Understanding of process control systems, SCADA, and PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley or Schneider)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality work
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
