We are looking to hire an

Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Coordinator

based out of our

Fort St. John

branch.

Responsibilities:



Monitor the costs, productivity, and scheduling associated with the instrumentation department. Monitor project expenses to ensure all budget requirements are met. Must have an ability to maximize manpower while utilizing the skills, material, and other resources to ensure efficiencies are met and exceeded. Work alongside with the service managers to ensure all maintenance and construction jobs have the required manpower and skills required to carry out each job to the expectations of the Clients. Must be able to maintain relationships with internal and external parties (Employees, Managers/Owners & Customers). Be proactive and examine possible opportunities while working closely with the branch manager to ensure all areas of improved growth can be obtained. Conduct Site visits periodically. Build rapport with the Instrument Technician Apprentices and Journeyman to understand everyone's skills and strengths to develop a strong team. Support the Estimating team participating in Instrument estimates when needed. Comply with the standards and safety procedures of the CDN Controls Health & Safety Manual. Understand requirements of customer specific work order system. Understand and communicate field technicians after hour work activity and safe travel monitoring. Plan and maintain on call schedule. Work with management to promote all service programs, policies and processes and ensure they are carried out by all field service personnel. Ensure that service trucks are properly maintained and in good working order. Assist with development of annual plans for the service department and measure performance against plans monthly. Ensure repair completion by assessing and providing the necessary tools, supplies, parts and troubleshooting guidance. Work directly with Instrument Manager to support. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



3-5 years of Industrial Instrumentation construction/maintenance field work. Valid class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract. Must Pass Drug and Alcohol Test. Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to deal with difficult people/situations with a calm demeanor. Flexibility in accommodating extra hours.
