Career Opportunity Kids Cancer Care is looking for an Education Support Specialist (ESS) to work from the Calgary office for 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week). This position will be a part of the Education Support team and primarily support the Tutoring Program. This is a permanent part-time position reporting to the Director of Outreach. Kids Cancer Care offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Position Overview The Education Support Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the Tutoring Program and supports the work of all Education Support programs. Childhood cancers survivors can face complex, long-term side effects which may impact their ability to learn. The Education Support Program aims to support children and their families disadvantaged by cancer. This position works collaboratively with the Education Support team and the Outreach team to support families and volunteers through various program channels.
