Job Description

The person appointed to the position of project manager contributes to the development of educational tools and processes for various G3E educational programs, including I adopt a watercourse. She will also be responsible for implementing a program to promote and engage schools participating in Adopt a River.


Main Responsibilities




Take charge of developing and updating various educational and awareness-raising tools, primarily related to Adopt a River (secondary and college). Popularize, through various means, the scientific results and educational impacts of the Adopt a River program. Develop tools to promote a school's involvement in the conservation of its waterway. Finalize the design of engagement tools aimed at a school community involved in the conservation of its waterway. In collaboration with Coordinators of the Adopt-a-River program, conduct a pilot phase involving 10 school communities participating in the program. Contribute to the implementation of independent online training for partner organizations and teachers participating in citizen science projects. Participate in the delivery of training for regional coordinators of the Adopt-a-River program.

What we are looking for




Undergraduate degree in secondary education (science an asset) At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar position Concrete experience in developing educational tools related to scientific concepts Experience in teaching or facilitating group Excellent French speaking and writing skills Good knowledge of the Quebec high school curriculum and how the school system operates Knowledge of current educational concepts Knowledge of concepts related to aquatic ecosystems and water an asset Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Good work organization and planning skills Interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills

What we offer




Salary: $24.50 to $32.15 depending on experience and current salary policy Permanent, full-time position (30 to 35 hours/week) Contribution to a savings plan Retirement Flexible schedule, possibility of working remotely, sick and family leave, etc. Start date: end of August 2025
