eCommerce Sales and Marketing Manager, Amazon-Canada
, you will be responsible for measuring and driving progress for the Amazon Canada business. This role is pivotal in leading cross-functional efforts to grow sales, improve profitability, and enhance brand visibility on Amazon.ca. This position is located at our Canadian Headquarters in
Markham, ON
.
Other primary responsibilities include:
Collaborate closely with Amazon Vendor Manager, In-Stock Manager and DI Manager, while partnering internally with Sales, Forecasting, Operations, Marketing/advertising and Finance teams.
Planning and executing online marketing and promotions, while coordinating media efforts with Amazon activities.
Leading Amazon Canada team to drive sales and margin of US $10M+ targeting 5% operating profit and 10%+ annual growth.
Plan and execute online marketing campaigns and promotions, coordinating media efforts with Amazon activities to maximize impact.
Manage strategic discussions and daily operations with Amazon Advertising, digital marketing, creative, product marketing, CBD, and sales teams to deliver strategic initiatives, improve glance views, and increase conversion rates.
Maintain regular communication with Amazon Vendor Managers to align promotions, marketing execution, and postmortem analysis to optimize future sales and advertising spend.
Partner with the Senior Sales Team Lead, Senior Director of Sales, and VP Canada to ensure consistent internal communication and alignment with HBB Leadership.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including traffic, conversion, and sales metrics, to inform strategy and execution.
Oversee catalog management including product listings, A+ content, brand store updates, and enhanced content optimization to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
Conduct competitive analysis and monitor category trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation on Amazon.ca.
Analyze sales performance, advertising ROI, and consumer behavior to refine strategies and improve overall channel efficiency.
Troubleshoot operational issues including inventory discrepancies, chargebacks, and fulfillment challenges in collaboration with internal and Amazon teams.
Coordinate with creative and content teams to develop compelling assets that drive engagement and conversion across Amazon touchpoints.
Manage budget allocation for Amazon Advertising and external digital campaigns, ensuring optimal spend and performance.
Test and evaluate new tools, technologies, and Amazon programs (e.g., Subscribe & Save, Coupons, Vine) to enhance visibility and conversion.
Represent the Amazon Canada business in cross-functional meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.
Stay current with Amazon platform changes, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and maximize effectiveness.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with sales on Amazon.ca via Vendor Central preferred
Minimum 1 year of competency in Seller Central: 3+ years preferred.
Knowledge of Amazon Advertising, DSP and external marketing channels.
Strong understanding of glance views and conversion drivers
Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation skills, and success working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
