Position Overview:
The E-Commerce Fraud Investigator is directly responsible for analyzing fraud trends, decisioning high risk transactions, verifying orders, and working with law enforcement. This role will evaluate e-commerce data, monitor online trends, identify e-com fraud, and resolve on-line investigations to minimize chargebacks as well as internal and external theft. After identification of suspicious activity & trends, they will make rule recommendations based on the data or complete to resolution. This role provides input to customer service for the resolution on customers? online issues as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand and utilize E-commerce, Loss Prevention systems, and company platforms for accurate reporting and analysis to drive reduction of company loss
Protect company assets by analyzing data from multiple company resources, identifying trends negatively impacting the company
Utilize company information to successfully defend company chargebacks
Compile and analyze statistics for various areas of the business. Maintain and enhance reporting system to track cases and trends. Ensure proper reporting, record keeping and retention of evidence
Support the Customer Service team with requests for detailed investigational data
Maintain professional liaison with law enforcement officials to ensure appropriate coordination of investigations and/or prosecutions
Researching potential online retail services for resale of Uniqlo merchandise (Amazon, eBay, and Craigslist)
Recommend operational, procedural, and system changes to minimize or reduce fraud issues
Additional projects and duties as required
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience of at least 2-3 years in the E-commerce Fraud field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including, Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
Experience with E-commerce payment platforms and reporting systems
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information
