Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Eligible candidates can qualify for Wage Enhancement payment in addition to hourly wage.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children

- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child

- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education

- Assess and monitor the progress of each child, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records

- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement

- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications:

- Certified Early Childhood Educator IT, ECE or ECEA in BC

- Clear of Criminal Record Check

- 2 references

- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

- Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities

- Demonstrated leadership skills to create a positive learning environment
