We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals for the roles of ECE, ECEA or ECE IT. The ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This position involves working closely with children to support their development, learning, and well-being in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children in accordance with established curriculum and standards.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and individual needs.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to support each child's growth and development.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that meets health and safety regulations.
Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to ensure inclusivity in the learning environment.
Foster positive relationships with children while promoting social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred.
A background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential traits for success in this role.
Certification or training related to early childhood education is an asset but not mandatory.

Salary: $21-$30 (includes $6 Wage enhancement where eligible)
