Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will educate and nurture young students, both one-on-one and in small groups. The position involves working in students' homes and at various locations, so independence and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of independent schools and experience supporting families with application writing and submission.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons tailored to individual students and small groups. Implement the BC curriculum effectively, guiding personalized learning provisions. Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment in students' homes and various educational sites. Develop and utilize student learning plans to enhance academic achievement. Independently manage and adapt teaching strategies in different settings. Write curriculum materials and ensure they meet the needs of our students. Liaise with families to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following skills:
? Holds a University Degree (Required)
? Possession of a valid teaching license (license does not need to be specific to BC)
? Willing to provide a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (Required)
? ESL Certification (Preferred)
? ECE Certification (Required)
? Excellent oral communication skills in fluent English (Required)
? Experience following and creating curriculum plans (Preferred)
? Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
? Highly organized, flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on varied responsibilities in a small business environment
? Willingness to take on a range of administrative tasks

? Strong writing skills for providing application support.
? Ability to work independently and competently in students' homes and various educational sites.
? Minimum 3 years teaching experience in an educational setting (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
