Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including measuring, mixing, kneading and shaping dough. Monitor baking supplies and ingredients; communicate with management to ensure timely reordering Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations. Perform quality control checks on ingredients and finished products

Qualifications:

Proven baking experience, preferably in a commercial or professional kitchen Ability to start work as early as 3:00 and work independently with minimal supervision Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety procedures Good organizational and time-management skills Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Culinary or baking certification Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.75-$25.05 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
